• Responsibilities include all aspects of managing the operation of the department including budget, staff and casework.• Effectively protect consumers in accordance with New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act• Identify, develop and initiate outreach programs needed by different sectors of the community• Meet with community leaders and elected officials to better serve the community through education and legislation• Develop, coordinate and implement Sandy Recovery Workshops with both government agencies and private sector participation

•Responsibilities include all aspects of managing a staff of 8 paid and unpaid members to effectively run the legislative district. •Conduct intensive research on a variety of public issues related to the judiciary, state government and regulatory oversight and gaming.•Prepare remarks and statements for the Assemblywoman and attend events on her behalf.•Propose and outline legislation for introduction.•Coordinate public outreach, organize town hall meetings, and draft issue driven mailings.•Meet with governmental affairs agents, public interest groups, constituents and federal, state, and local public officials to discuss policy matters.

•Performed intake for constituent concerns and decides the best course of action. •Took initiative in reaching out to contacts at local, county, state and federal agencies and organizations in order to offer assistance to constituents.•Acted as the 12th District liaison to the Community Coalition for the Prevention of Sexual Violence, 180° - Turning Lives Around.•Took lead on issues such as Tara’s Law, the privatization of military housing at NWS Earle and the licensing of wildlife rehabilitators. •Worked with local, county and state agencies to develop job and service fairs at various locations throughout the District.•Organized the District’s assistance in the “Little Soldiers” toy program, coordinated with a dozen municipalities to provide toys for the children of New Jersey soldiers.
