Worked closely with the European Commission and European Parliament representations across the EU27 to communicate research and policy recommendations to support national-level evidence-based policymaking. Identified newsworthy research findings and statistical evidence to develop engaging and timely content for press materials and social media.

AMES Australia is a government agency that has been providing settlement support to refugees and migrants for more than 70 years. The organisation works with the Department of Home Affairs (Australian Federal Government), relevant State governments (VIC, NSW, SA), and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to provide services to recently arrived humanitarian entrants to Australia. Produced written and video content for social media and website, delivered communications and information campaigns, coordinated stakeholder events, and wrote press releases and articles relevant to the humanitarian sector.

Parks Victoria is the statutory authority of the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (State Government of Victoria, Australia) responsible for managing and promoting the State’s national and regional parks. Planned, curated, and produced engaging content for social media channels, media, and the organisation's website. Sucessfully managed a content audit and website migration project.

ILA is the leading English language provider in Vietnam. The purpose of my role was to prepare students for English academic examinations. I used Cambridge teaching methods to prepare students for Cambridge Movers, KET, PET, FCE, and IELTS exams.

Secured a permanent role with the NHS after completing a graduate placement. Led communications for major fundraising appeals and campaigns supporting the hospital including; The Children's Cancer Centre Appeal, Rare Diseases Appeal, Let us Play Christmas Appeal, and The Big Hoot (public health and arts initiative) amongst others.

This structured graduate rotational programme provides one exceptional recent graduate the opportunity to work in three diverse working environments within the professional services and public sectors.Placement three: Birmingham Children’s Hospital - Campaign Coordinator (May-Sept 2014)- Campaign planning: developed campaign strategies for large-scale capital appeals for the hospital. - Campaign management: oversaw the running of the Christmas campaign, from the development of the concept to collateral creation and management of promotional activities. - Social media: planned and implemented a social media and publicity strategy to raise awareness for the Christmas campaign.Placement two: Katie Bard - Research and Events Coordinator (Jan-May 2014)- Project management: developed a graduate work experience programme in collaboration with the University of Birmingham to encourage Birmingham-based businesses to employ recent graduates. - Research and analysis: researched Birmingham’s economic and labour market trends, and conducted significant market research with employers, students and recent graduates. - Event management: organised breakfast seminars to launch the graduate work experience program, produced marketing materials to promote it to employers and graduates, and developed content for presentations.Placement one: Glide - Communications Executive (Sept-Dec 2013) - Social media: developed engaging content for social media channels (Facebook and Twitter).- Content creation: wrote blog posts and assisted with the design of leaflets and posters to promote seasonal campaigns and developed a new employee training guide and handbook for the HR department.- Relationship management: liaised with key partners, clients, and creative agencies to develop marketing collateral for events.
