I was brought on board to re-start a centralized HR department in a mature company. Some of my key achievements in this role: Worked with benefits broker to shop plans and implement expanded tiers of benefits options with a year-over-year savings in company benefit costs of 28%; re-designed benefit offerings to ensure compliance with ACA. Created a schedule of accountability for broker to ensure that we received adequate support despite our out-of-cycle plan year; led 401(k) audits and ensured that employees received educational materials as well as facilitated meetings with our independent financial advisor; oversaw administration of the annual employee survey; led employee feedback sessions for some locations, trained general managers on leading feedback sessions; updated new employee onboarding processes as well as migrated the HRIS system to convert paper documentation to an electronic document management system.

Managed Human Resources and Payroll process in compliance with Federal, State, and local laws for a company with over 70% annual turnover. Served as point of contact for Workers Compensation insurance and claims as well as medical benefits and the 401(k) plan. Conducted exit interviews.
