Responsible for overseeing daily operations of the tasting room, ensuring the highest servicestandards and achieving revenue goals. In addition to pouring and conducting tours, monitors the flow of guest traffic, ensuring the room runs well operationally. Most importantly, responsible for ensuring the team provides every guest with memorable, world class experience, by demonstrating and effectively sharing our brand’s winemaking and growing philosophy. This position is thechampion of guest service in creating the perfect balance of education and a great experience.Builds brand awareness by engaging guests with enthusiasm and knowledge of product.Develop guest relationships that promote sales and brand loyalty.Understand and effectively communicate company vision, mission, values, goals culture and news.Promote Winery Clubs and Winery events; promote and increase wine and Club sales.Educates and motivates team to utilize sales skills for wine club sales, promote merchandise and wine tours and deliver high-standard experiences for guests.Ensures all events are appropriately staffed through efficient scheduling, both on-site and off-site.Working with the Senior Tasting Room Manager, participates in the training and coaching of tasting room staff. Actively leads and supports wine education amongst the tasting room staff.Resolves issues and discrepancies and responds to guest requests and feedback.Prepare Tasting room for open and close, while ensuring daily operational procedures are being followed.Understand and operate in Commerce 7 and Cellar Pass. Create and promote wine sales and special wine events to achieve revenue goals.Ensure accuracy of wine and merchandise inventory and maintains stock.Ensures the Tasting Room is clean, stocked, and organized.Ensure financial/cash and inventory controls are maintained and standard operating procedures are followed.Track and report sales, transfers, and waste.
