This includes 10 years’ managing programs of national strategic interest and 15 years of business and proposal development. Currently, I apply my operations and business experience to developing winning proposal strategies and practical management approaches. My operations experience includes the U.S. Antarctic Program, where I rose through the ranks from a vehicle operator to become the first woman contractor to manage a U.S. Antarctic research station. Then, as Operations/Deputy Program Director for Johnston Atoll chemical weapons demilitarization support, I led the medical facility through CLIA certification and 3 successful chemical surety inspections (CSI), including a notable first - the first time a civilian hospital passed a CSI on its initial attempt. For this, I received the Commander's Award for Public Service, the 4th highest honor conferred by the U.S. Army to a civilian.
