My work over the last two decades has centered on re-imagining economic opportunity in emerging markets - whether that’s been in rural India, the Baltics, or inland California. I currently lead Edge Collaborative - a civic incubator whose mission is to invest into community ventures that can build a more participatory, inclusive economy. As an entrepreneurial leader, I've been fortunate to lead a range of public, nonprofit and private initiatives across rural healthcare affordability, access to technology and climate jobs. Throughout my career, I have served as the go-to for big picture strategy at the earliest stages — pioneering new initiatives, marshaling key partnerships and then building small, powerhouse teams to catalyze those initiatives into existence. That enterprising spirit has led to the founding of social businesses, prototyping in emerging markets, and driving investments into climate infrastructure. Intl Development: To scale services in rural India, my team developed a biz model to improve healthcare access. That led me to start a clean energy product distribution company. It failed.Startups: I co-founded a 3D printing startup to revolutionize the future of supply chains. I later led the team responsible for crafting global product strategy at a tech incubator in Silicon Valley. Public sector: I advised the Government of Estonia’s e-Residency initiative to advance digital entrepreneurship. Most recently, served as a senior advisor on economic innovation in local government.
