Recruited to build and open a private golf club and resort in Pope Valley, guiding the startup and management of a full spectrum of membership operations, systems and programs. As an assistant to the senior management, collaborated in creating policies and procedures, helped in establishing founding membership base and acted as member relations associate to ensure our guests an exceptional club experience. Provided golf course, club facility and real estate property tours, coordinated special arrangements and services for guests as well as member events and golf tournaments. Led the creation and distribution of collateral materials for the sales and marketing departments.

Responsible for administrative work in addition to business and administrative details for the Winemaker. Managed all aspects of grower relations including oversight of grower’s contracts, $4.5 million in grower payments, assessment fees and end of year “Grape Crush Report” data. Supported the Winemaker in completing the responsibilities of directing the winery production department. Set up all aspects of barrel and finished product wine tastings for winemaker, proprietor and consultants. Represented winery at special off site events and tastings.

Assist partners and General Manager in all aspects of start-up for a new championship golf course and country club. Provide administrative support to executive management. Duties include written communication, scheduling, bookkeeping, and a variety of ad hoc requests. Responsible for all member relations, hospitality events, as well as executive membership sales support. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.

Ensure the smooth running of the Majority Leader’s day-to-day schedule. Maintained liaison with legislative, press and scheduling staff as well as constituents and government agencies. Research and assist in preparation of legislation. Review all necessary materials for the day including event calendar, correspondences, speeches, talking points, bill folders and press information. Volunteer on Shelley for Secretary of State Campaign as fund-raising assistant and volunteer coordinator.

Develop, implement and manage advertising strategy, both from a business, sales and technical perspective to increase CD sales and overall market share for Tower stores. Create, propose, negotiate and produce all sponsorship, ongoing and annual promotions. Research and develop creative direction and media plans that are appropriate to client budget and objectives. Maintain relationships and favorable contacts and target new potential advertising opportunities. Manage advertising sales to all major and independent record vendors with a yearly billing of $10 million dollars.
