With a career spanning diverse domains including communications, consulting, higher education, and work-based learning leadership, Dr. Ann Schulte is a versatile executive with mastery in driving impactful change within individuals and organizations. Throughout her extensive experiences, she has honed specific practices for achieving transformative growth outcomes. Notably, she held the position of Chief Learning Officer, spearheading award-winning talent development organizations at two global powerhouses: MasterCard and Procter & Gamble. After retiring from P&G in 2024, she continues to shape the landscape of organizational capability, change, and culture through consulting and executive coaching.As the SVP of Global Talent Development and Chief Learning Officer at Procter & Gamble, Dr. Ann Schulte had global responsibility to support all learning and leadership development and to drive a comprehensive strategy to transform the enterprise into a dynamic skills-based organization. Her scope included enterprise learning, organizational capability, leader and manager development, executive development, team effectiveness and coaching. As a cultural anchor for organizational transformation, she led embedding growth mindset at P&G, building an empowered, agile, and accountable organization to win with consumers and operate at the speed of the market. Prior joining P&G in 2012, Ann was the CLO at MasterCard Worldwide where she spent 15 years. As a freelancer, Ann developed learning solutions over a 10-year period for clients such as Helzberg Diamonds, Sprint, and the Kansas City Zoo. Her early career focus was on public relations and corporate communications.Ann earned her doctorate (Ed.D.) in Work-based Learning Leadership at the University of Pennsylvania/Wharton School of Business. Her dissertation, a qualitative study of the role of learning and development in employer brand practices, was awarded a distinction. She has completed the executive coaching curriculum of the Neuroleadership Institute and the New Change Equation for Positive Change Leadership at Case Western Reserve University. She holds a master’s degree in Media from Webster University, and a Bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of Missouri. She is the academic director of the business block of the CLO Executive Doctoral Program at UPenn.
