I'm a philosopher who researches, writes, and teaches feminist, anti-racist, and anti-colonial theories—modes of inquiry that I firmly believe can reimagine any and everything. A central question that runs through my teaching and research is studying how systems of oppression—which deploy a colonial, sexist, and anti-black logic—have shaped what we know, how we understand our world, and our relationship with one another. Public pedagogy is also extremely important to me because it's how we achieve collective critical consciousness. I teach a wide variety of courses on love, rage, rest and liberation, reproductive justice, and Critical DEI to anyone who wants to learn in community.

Doctoral Lecturer Of Philosophy And Interdisciplinary StudiesYork College Of The City University Of New York Aug 2023 - PresentQueens, New York, United StatesI'm a full-time doctoral lecturer of philosophy and interdisciplinary studies in the Department of Philosophy, History, and Anthropology in York College, which is part of the City University of New York. I teach both introductory and advanced undergraduate courses in the department, and bring my knowledge of feminist philosophy, critical philosophy of race, philosophy of science, and anticolonial philosophy to the classroom. The majority of my students at York are students of color, which I love, especially since philosophy has historically been unwelcoming to people of color and the knowledges they bring. I challenge and change this paradigm with each class I teach and each syllabus I design. -
