- Setting up finance & HR functions for greenfield operations in MEA.- Responsible for the complete MEA accounting and finance operations of the company.- Maintain an adequate system of accounting records, as well as a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk for the company's reported financial results on a monthly basis.- Manage the production of the annual budget, forecasts, and actual vs budget reporting in coordination with corporate Financial Planning & Analysis.- Ensure proper cash management and risk management.- Liaison with the Company’s banking partners for Treasury management & operations.- Tax compliance filings and annual tax provisions.- Responsible for statutory reporting requirements in the UAE, and the related statutory audits.- Ensure that accounting transaction comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and/or international financial reporting standards (IFRS).- Work closely with the India and MEA Management Team for developing annual business plan and giving inputs on business strategies.- Ensure local policies are in alignment with both Middle East LAWS and corporate expectations.- Carrying out HR functions related to company registration and staff recruitment with concerned authorities in UAE.- Laisoning with MOHRE and DED for completing necessary documentation formalities to carry out business in UAE.- Position reports to the Group CFO & MEA Business Head.
