Experienced academician with a decade in Fashion Design & Clothing, specializing in lecturing, research, and data analysis. My expertise spans research methodology, garment sizing, anthropometry, clothing fit, textiles, apparel marketing, merchandising, and clothing comfort. Passionate about research, I have published with EMERALD, SPRINGER, and other Scopus-indexed journals.I have held diverse roles at leading institutions, including NIFT, Amity University, and the Ethiopian Institute of Textile & Fashion Technology, where I gained experience in teaching, learning, and administrative roles as a Learning-Research Coordinator and Principal Investigator on government-funded projects.In the industry, I focused on workwear and kids' wear with Alok Industries Limited and LI & FUNG (INDIA) Private Limited. Recognized as the national topper in a MOOC on Clothing Comfort (2019), I also won Best Research Project for my Master's thesis at Pearl Academy.At SGT University, I served as Research Coordinator, Synergy Coordinator, IQAC Coordinator, and SWAYAM Coordinator. My project “Creating Fashion with Minimum Wastage through Pattern Engineering” earned third prize under the "Natural Resources & Sustainability" theme at Synergy 2024.Currently, I am Faculty at FDDI, Chandigarh Campus, where I focus on design thinking, innovation, and research-driven education. My Ph.D. research contributes to developing a standard size chart for Indian plus-size women as part of the 'INDIA Size Project.'
