As the Program Director of Human Resources at National Industries for the Blind, I lead and manage the HR functions for a nonprofit organization that creates employment opportunities for people who are blind. I have a Professional Human Resource (PHR) certification and a Master's degree in Business and Human Capital.My core competencies include workforce development, recruiting, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and employment law. I have a passion for hiring and working with people with disabilities, and ensuring they receive reasonable accommodation and equal opportunity. I also have expertise in business development, grassroots lobbying, and public policy, which I gained from my previous roles at Prime Placements, Inc. and Florida Chamber of Commerce.
