Partner to Decide is a US-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that exists to improve decision-making in maternity care. We develop, test, evaluate, and implement tools and trainings to make it easier for pregnant people to make evidence-based, values-aligned decisions and for care providers to support them in doing so. In our work, we prioritize the needs and preferences of pregnant people who identify as Black and/or Latinx, are insured by Medicaid, and who have low literacy levels since they are least likely to experience shared decision-making and most likely to experience bias in their care. • Led the division focused on improving health outcomes for people in Massachusetts during pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood and supporting their children to thrive; 20+ staff members and a $16 million budget• Leadership and oversight for the following programs and initiatives: Title V priorities and systems (MCH Director), family and community engagement initiatives, improving pediatric mental health care access and systems, home visiting programs including the Massachusetts Maternal Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MA MIECHV) programs, programs for families affected by homeless and substance use, the maternal mortality and morbidity review, the postpartum depression (PPD) initiative, a doula initiative and work related to maternal levels of care• Served on many cross-cutting groups and coalitions working to improve maternal health and health equity including the Massachusetts Perinatal-Neonatal Quality Improvement Network leadership team• Led culture change in the division related to accountability, goals, prioritization, and self-care

• Taught a 14-week course on management and budgeting for public health within the residential Tufts MPH program

• Taught a 7-week, 4-credit summer course in Assessment & Planning for Health Promotion with a focus on asset-based and equity-centered assessment with applied assignments that were useful products for our class' client.• Ranked “excellent” as a professor by 100% of students who completed the course evaluation. Written comments described how clear the purpose was of each assignment and how satisfying it was to do work for a real client.

• Led growth to five new cities in three years while testing and evaluating new implementation models after we had been in five main sites for nearly 15 years with a single implementation model• In school year 2020-2021 led a newly formed team to increase the program’s national school-based reach in from prior year despite COVID-19 pandemic while delivering on my own sales/partnerships pipeline• Hired, managed, and grew the capacity and performance of the Partnerships team; set and managed annual budget and goals; hired a completely new, diverse, and talented team and built a positive team culture• Served on the executive team & led the organization through the COVID-19 crisis

• Oversaw improvements in program implementation quality nationally in five main sites and laid the groundwork for new growth strategy based on potential for impact, scale, and sustainability in alignment with market demand• Led new health partnership implementation strategy nationally with funded hospital and school-based health center partnerships in NYC and Boston• Managed the Sites & Partnerships team, budget, and goals; served on the organizational leadership team

• Led the development and implementation of national programmatic innovation that adapted our health education model to be more responsive to the needs of partner school districts and high schools (in 2016-17 this included school-based health center tours and a shortened accessing resources focused program).• Led national training, coaching, and support to ensure that city program staff serving 17,000 youth nationwide had the skills and tools they need to implement a high quality health education program in low-income public high schools that lacked health education.• Provided one-on-one coaching to Program Directors in PHE city sites with a focus on maximizing program quality and efficiency.• Responsible for all hiring and management of national program support staff.• Evaluated national training, coaching, and support and used data to constantly refine and improve nationally driven training and support structures.

• Led Boston programming by developing, managing, growing, and evaluating the Peer Health Exchange program in Boston that trained college students to teach workshops on sexual health, healthy relationships, substance abuse, mental health, and nutrition and physical activity to 3,800 Boston area ninth graders who otherwise would not have received comprehensive health education. • Determined Boston programmatic vision, annual performance goals, and program budget. • Responsible for all hiring and management of three Boston program staff members and the setting of performance and professional development goals to support program staff.• Technical advisor for curriculum development and implementation strategies to two national strategic investments that are taking place in New York, Chicago, and San Francisco.• Led city-wide pilot initiatives including the sole direction of Peer Health Exchange's first ever Boston middle school program in spring 2013 and other initiatives to constantly improve and redefine program quality in service of the best possible program impact on Boston youth.• Rebuilt and maintained relationships with area school districts including Boston Public Schools and other key community partners.

• Conducted a mixed method evaluation for VOICES, a youth development curriculum focused on civic engagement, delivered by MDPH-funded agencies across the state. • Analyzed quantitative data from a matched pre-post survey using R.• Designed and conducted a complementary qualitative evaluation involving youth and youth workers.• Designed and authored final evaluation learning documents including a comprehensive report of all findings as well as summary documents designed for different stakeholders and audiences of the evaluation findings (e.g., a PowerPoint presentation, a one-pager, etc.)

• Served as a consultant for Marie Stopes International Bolivia to improve the family planning mobile unit program that provides family planning services to rural areas in Bolivia.• Presented recommendations for improving the mobile units' ability to build and maintain community relationships in rural areas, the education delivered to all patients about their family planning options, and the evaluation of clinicians in order to ensure that metrics support free and full contraceptive choice for all women.• Developed community survey for family planning mobile units to use when partnering with new communities in order to build better community partnerships, support, and follow-up systems within the rural communities the unit serves.

• Solely responsible for planning, budgeting, and execution of school-based obesity prevention program in 12 public schools in Boston, MA and Guntersville, AL serving 2000 elementary school students.• Provided all technical assistance to partner elementary schools in order to tailor the implementation of the program to specific school needs and optimize program impact.• Recruited and retained new partner schools for program expansion.• Solely responsible for development, implementation, and evaluation of an innovative program enhancement to further the program’s impact at Boston schools.• Recruited, trained, and directly supervised 35 volunteers and interns.• Led program evaluation efforts including the development of the research and evaluation proposal for surveying in the Boston Public Schools and performing the statistical analysis of pre and post-test results.

• Developed and implemented sexual health education curriculum resulting in increased knowledge of family planning methods, STIs, and safer sex practices of over 30 adolescent girls and their prize-winning participation in a health fair explaining prevention methods to community leaders and peers.• Contextualized reproductive health choices by teaching business skills, math, reading, geography, and world cultures, and supporting self-efficacy through self-esteem and life planning exercises. • Developed and implemented new curriculum increasing knowledge of general health and nutrition of over 65 women and adolescent girls in two alternative education centers.• Organized and executed workshops on a variety of topics including product transformation, cost analysis, worm composting, and a three-day workshop on vegetarian cooking and nutrition for 36 participants representing 11 educational centers.
