My years spent in retail offering customer service has enabled me to be an effective communicator and really understand what the consumer's wants and needs are when it comes to technology. Working at Microsoft as a business solutions advisor has opened my eyes to the impact and importance of technology in business and how a company can transform a business to positively impact their clients while improving business productivity. Also along the way I learned how to repair customer relationships of a product and brand while troubleshooting and arriving at technical solutions to their specific problems. As a technology evangelist I embrace new development tools and technologies to be an effective software developer. Studying computer science at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, I try to incorporate my business and people experience into my field to really offer a different perspective to computer science problems and ideas. When I am not busy tackling school, I consult for businesses, develop, and work on my fun projects. I experiment developing light-weight programs and applications that automate tedious daily tasks. I love to bridge the gap between technology and human interaction.
