As an experienced Food and Beverage professional with over 15 years in the industry, I bring my passion for development and training to the role of Hospitality Skills Training Specialist at The Star Gold Coast. Representing The Star Academy, I drive engagement in hospitality training and assist with the design and delivery of group-wide programs. The Star Academy is a fully equipped training facility, with its mock bar, barista training facility, restaurant, and computer training spaces, provides a platform for team members to acquire new skills or refine their techniques.As a member of the Learning and Development team, my primary responsibilities include onboarding new team members and ensuring their engagement and knowledge in delivering exceptional guest service. Additionally, I am responsible for designing and implementing quality F&B/Hospitality training programs linked to agreed outcomes, as well as coordinating and facilitating the delivery of Food and Beverage technical skills, Guest Service, and Point of Sale training. Finally, I regularly review and update training materials for relevance and validity.
