Duties & Responsibilities: • Develop procedures to meet the requirements of all in-service corrosion inspection program.• Liaise closely with operations, maintenance and technical services to coordinate major shutdowns and turn-around activities.• Develop procedures for Cathodic Protection monitoring, troubleshooting and optimization. • Develop, implement and maintain risk based inspection (RBI) models and databases.• Set service contractor priorities and performance targets, KPIs and supervise on-site contractor staff activities.• Analyze corrosion monitoring data from probes, coupons, and NDT surveys in order to identify trends and optimize corrosion treatment programs. • Produce bi-annual corrosion report, main concerns highlighted. • Analyze findings and recommend appropriate corrective measures / actions.• Perform corrosion related failure analysis using third party laboratory resources / services.• Perform fitness for services assessment on process equipment including pressure vessels, pipework, heat exchangers …etc. • Set technical acceptance criteria and perform technical evaluation of equipment and services required for all aspects of corrosion monitoring and inspection programs. • Close coordination with Chemist engineer to set and implement appropriate corrosion related chemical treatments for all production streams• Engage in regular performance management and goal-setting.• Contract management: Identify needs, raise contracts, cost tracking• Ensure a safe working environment in compliance with company and governmental rules and regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities: • ER and CP probe measurement, pulling out and replacing.• Corrosion rate calculation (weight loss and resistance)• Review the documents RBI, Drawings, Contractor documents. • Cathodic protection surveys (Take the measurements around all STP, AJB, NJB, T/R,earth resistivity, On-Off technique).• To monitor Welder performance and conduct visual inspections of welds and repairs of welds in accordance with Company procedures and international codes of practice • Review/Check: Quality Plant, ITP, WPS, PQR, RBI, WQT and PWHTAll NDT Procedures (UT-RT-VT-MT-PT). • Witnessed the Welders Qualification Test for Welders (WQT)• Coating / Painting Inspection and DFT measurement of above ground equipment and piping. • Produced inspection procedures and database for inspection and ensures the periodic regulatory safety controls of Lifting Equipments.Shutdown Activities: • Previsual Inspection of all equipments whichever is opened (like pressure vessels, K.O.Drums, Boilers, Reactors, Reformers, Heat Exchangers, Surge drums, Columns and Towers etc. • Inspection after Cleaning / Chemical Cleaning, &list out the repair activities in accordance with procedures and standards. • Inspection after repair in Heat Exchangers like Tube, Tubesheet change, Ferrule Inspection, Plugging, Seal welding of tubes, Hydrotest shell &Tube sides etc. • Inspection of Drums & Vessels for its Mechanical Integrity, review of all NDT Related activities & final Box – Up. • Visual Inspection of Crude Column, Identifying damaged trays, Chimney trays, Removal & install of new trays, Hydro test of Chimney trays & final Inspection. • Removal of Old valves & repair, D.P Test, Thickness measurement records review, & reinstallation of Valves.
