I am a life science researcher with over 11 years of expertise in theoretical knowledge and hands on experience with recombinant DNA technologies and molecular cloning, cell culture, transfection, basic biochemical and immunoassay techniques such as protein expression, SDS-PAGE, Western blotting and immunofluorescence. My postdoctoral research focused on generating anti-SARS CoV-2 F(ab’)2 specific antibody fragments as a therapeutic intervention in severe COVID-19 patients. Primary immune mechanism infected cells & anti-viral evasion strategies of SARS-CoV-2. I am exploited by other RNA viruses including JEV, DNEV, etc. Before joining CCMB, I was working as scientific officer at Spice Healthcare Ltd at Kasaragod, Kerala and leading a team of scientific officers, molecular technicians, phlebotomists & data entry operators for conducting RT-PCR test for diagnosing COVID-19. In my Ph.D., I focused on the development of immortalized cell line from shrimp (Penaeus monodon) and investigated viral susceptibility using WSSV. . The major outcome of my PhD is the development of shrimp-insect hybrid cell line PmLyO-Sf9, first ever reported shrimp cell line globally. I had been working with WSSV and recombinant baculovirus to accomplish my objectives. I have published a number of research finding in multifarious journals as 1st and co-authors from my doctoral study. My goal is to become an independent academic research investigator in cell biology and virology. Further, I am seeking for a new challenge in the field of molecular biology, cell culture and virology. I am highly motivated to utilize my skills, pursue my research career and contribute to the development of my organization.
