Process Equipment Division of Godrej & Boyce, is a leading supplier of Critical & High End equipment for Oil & Gas, Power & Water and is an approved vendor for all major players from across the globe. With a very strong manufacturing base in Mumbai & Dahej, with it's own jetty at both the places and sales & marketing presence in every continent, Godrej PED is a 100+ M$ business with >85% of it's revenue coming from overseas supply.

Hydro India is one of the 5 regions from where GE covers the globe for Hydro Power solutions. I am part of India operations and look after Supply Chain, which covers Manufacturing, Sourcing, Procurement, Logistics, EHS, Quality, Planning, Industrial Engineering, Lean, Facility and Supply Chain HR & Finance. Responsible for annual sales of ~ 75 MUSD and has a team size of 650 employees. We manufacture mechanical & electrical components of Hydro turbines. I am responsible for Procurement of Raw Materials and Components for both factory and BOP items required at various Project & Service sites. Responsibility of EHS of the entire unit comes under me.

Formerly known as Flakt India, ECS business of Alstom (now GE) is pioneer and market leader in Air Quality Control System for Power and other Industries like Aluminium, Steel etc. Kolkata based unit is global hub for Particulate Matter (PM) and provides EPC solutions to plants all over the world. As a Business Leader, I was instrumental in strengthening project execution and in developing market & product strategy for SOx. Being the PM hub, unit won several multi million dollar deals globally. Under my leadership, ECS was executing India's First Wet FGD project @ NTPC Vindyachal, apart from several GTC & FTC contracts for Aluminium Smelters in India.

Durgapur Boiler factory was India's first major boiler pressure part manufacturing factory. There were many Firsts in it's credit and one recent being making India's first Super-critical Boiler Barh II Pressure Parts. It started with my journey with Alstom towards end of 2009 and in a short span of 3 years, unit not only succeeded in re-establishing itself as a major player by delivering all the projects on time and per Alstom's quality standard. It's annual production went 18x in 4 years and unit became one of the most successful manufacturing unit of Alstom.As a Unit MD, I was leading all functions including Manufacturing, Finance, HR, Quality, EHS, Sales & Tendering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Sourcing & Procurement & Facility Management of 770 Acres of Industrial Township.

Started my career as a Planning Engineer in 1996 and was General Manager and Head of Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering, managing 3 plants, ~ 800 employees and ~ 500 Crs of Annual Production, when I left in 2009.From being a complete local player, under the leadership of the BU Head, Process Equipment Division of Godrej & Boyce became a major global player for Heavy & Critical Equipments for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Fertilizer, Nuclear, Aerospace industries. It established heavy manufacturing plants in Vikhroli, capable of delivering 1000 MT products from it's own jetty @ Mumbai.
