About Anoop John

I am Anoop John, the Founder and CTO of Zyxware Technologies. I studied Electronics Engineering at the College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram (CET), Kerala. It was during this time that the inspiration for Zyxware Technologies was born.After completing my Masters in Electrical Engineering at Penn State University, I worked for three years and then quit my job to pursue my true calling and founded Zyxware Technologies in 2006. In 2018, I moved back to the USA to initiate the US operations of Zyxware Technologies. I am currently based in Austin, Texas, where I lead the US operations of my company and assume the responsibilities of the global CTO.I started Zyxware with the vision of contributing towards 'the change I wished to see in the world'. We now have operations in USA, India, and Australia. The company specializes in web content management systems (WebCMS) and digital experience platforms (DXPs), with a particular focus on Drupal.At our core, we are guided by the values of honesty and fairness, and we envision a future where we continually deliver genuine value to our people, clients, and society as a whole.With almost 18 years experience, Zyxware Technologies has honed its expertise in developing and implementing WebCMS solutions and DXPs in Drupal and related technologies.My interests are as diverse as my journey. I like to engage in conversations on a wide range of topics, including activism, sociology, psychology, science, engineering, and more. While I may not be a consistent blogger, my writings reflect my passion for learning and exploring various subjects.I am also a firm believer in the power of free software and open source technologies, and I have dedicated myself to being a Free Software Evangelist and technologist. I am an active contributor to the Drupal community and am also the Founder of the Drupal community news portal - The Drop Times.I am passionate about creating a compassionate and just society through the power of technology.
