Legal & Contracts at Computer Sciences Corp. (erstwhile CSC, now DXC).➤ Part of the Global Contracts & Legal Shared Services Leadership Team; responsibilities included P/L mgmt., business strategy, service delivery, people management (hiring, training, performance mgmt.) ➤ Management oversight for a global team comprising 110+ Legal and CCM professionals across India, Australia, UK and the US.➤ Expanded Shared Services activities to include proposal & NDA reviews, negotiation of Teaming/ Sub-K agreements and definitive agreements with clients, obligation management, CO/WO reviews, contracts training and research for Service Delivery and Account Mgmt. team members on key contractual terms, exit phase activities.➤ Created a New Business CCM team to support existing accounts and new logo acquisition by Sales Hubs; reviewed proposal/ bid T&Cs and services agreements for large commercial and public-sector deals across India, AMEA and UK&I.➤ Set up the Procurement Contracts review and negotiation function to support Supply Chain Management teams across India, AMEA, UK&I and US.

➤ Lead In-house Counsel for one of the India subsidiaries; responsible for legal and regulatory compliances.➤ Heading the GCO Operations group - ~45 legal and compliance professionals supporting contract negotiations, contract management, e-discovery document review, claim (P/L) assessment, and various regulatory (FINRA & SEC) compliance processes.

➤ Established the Global Shared Services function for the General Counsel’s Org. as part of a re-engineering exercise that looked at unbundling Outside Counsel services and controlling spend through in-house capability and capacity creation.➤ Developed and executed the strategy to support business on client claim response/ settlement, litigation support, IP portfolio mgmt., and regulatory compliance processes/ reporting.➤ Lead a multi-year project related to the implementation of SAP-Ariba; responsible for contract data migration, creating a hierarchical structure of documents for each vendor, and ongoing management of contracts data on Ariba.➤ Trained a team of contract lawyers and SOW writers to handle contract review and negotiations; responsible for hiring, mentoring, personnel management and escalations.

Started out as a litigation lawyer at a boutique law firm and branched out into the corporate advisory practice area. Broadened knowledge of legal research and commercial contracting by working with global clients and attorneys in the legal outsourcing industry.
