Credit Online application is responsible for analyzing and decision making on Credit card requests. This is Bank of America’s in house product for handling its Credit Cards request business flows. Technologies used in CROL are C++ on Unix based on Tuxedo and database being Sybase. I was mainly working in middleware layer of applications, which deals with business logic and different services. Key assignments:• Design, development and leading the new projects end-to-end on CROL applications.• Leading JAD sessions on new initiatives and finally come up with estimates and high-level solution.• Technically leading the team by mentoring them and resolving / improving / reviewing their solutions and day-to-day technical problems.• Lead the transition of development work from on-shore to newly formed offshore team.• Communicate & synchronize with on-shore Experts & Managers for planning/distributing work between onshore & offshore teams.• Work/task distribution with-in offshore team and tracking the same.• Leading – hiring, training of newly hired offshore developers by offshore & onshore team members.• To increase the efficiency & productivity of new resources to achieve planned/expected levels.

I worked as Group Lead – Offshore Development team for Amdocs Billing System Enabler & DDP product with customers being Sprint, Vodafone & Comcast etc. Key assignments:• Technically leading the team by mentoring them and resolving / improving / reviewing their solutions and day-to-day technical problems.• Estimating / Impact assessment of new projects or tasks or defects to be handled by team. • Lead the transition of development work from on-shore to newly formed offshore team.• Communicate & synchronize with on-shore managers for getting work for offshore team and planning/distributing work between onshore & offshore teams.• Work/task distribution between offshore team and tracking the same.• Planning, managing and executing – Hiring, Training of newly hired offshore developers by onshore trainers.• To increase the efficiency & productivity of new resources to planned/expected levels.

I worked as SSME and Acting Group Lead- Enabler development team for clients Sprint (US), Vodafone-UK and Vodafone-Hungary. Enabler 6.0 & 5.5 are with these customers and being customized, developed and maintained by my team. I also worked as Product Catalog/Rater – Senior Subject Matter Expert for client Sprint, US. PC and Rater are two applications responsible for rating telecom events according to different offers and configurations.

Key assignments:• Designed and developed Core frameworks (like Plug-in framework, Drag & Drop framework etc.) for the new product “Quark Publishing System Enterprise” which is a SOA (Services Oriented Architecture) based application in Objective-C using Cocoa.• Designed and developed internal modules in the form of libraries for QuarkDMS Enterprise Edition. The libraries were made using C & C++ using Carbon APIs.• Making the DMS client in C & C++ using Accessibility APIs, which help in connecting other third party applications like MSWord, Photoshop, and Illustrator etc to DMS server. This client will help MS-Word or Excel type applications to talk to DMS server.• Making the DMS clients like Standalone Client, XPress XTension Client and Administrator Client in C & C++ that will connect to DMS server and will accordingly check in, check out, Query etc to server data.• Carbonizing (using C/C++ Lang on Macintosh) the QuarkDMS clients for Mac OS X.• Developed plugins, by hooking in Mac OS 9 to support QuarkDMS features in third party applications. Basically I made a plug-in, which resides in third party applications memory and connects to QuarkDMS server. Connect clients manipulates third party application to support DMS features. On Mac OS X this has been replaced by a standalone application, which can make usage of Accessibility API to connect third party applications. This was done using NIB resources and Carbon events.
