Yade raises awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle. We offer fun & varied nature walks, workshops and workouts for employees to increase productivity, efficiency, team spirit, and fitness. Our team consists of a CFO, fitness instructor, yoga teacher, massage therapist, beach volleyball instructor, nutritionist, physical therapist and a psychologist.

Fulfilling the role of a School Psychologist, I provide support and treatment for pupils with a variety of learning and behavioral problems, as well as conducting psychodiagnostic research. In addition, I contribute to the professionalization of student care within education by giving lectures and providing advice on psychological support to parents, teachers and other supervisors, and advise about the school career of pupils. In addition, I contribute to the development and improvements of the school's care policy.

Within this organization, I conducted psychodiagnostic tests, performed individual therapies with clients such as EMDR, supported staff in taking care of our clients and students by giving lectures and psychological advice, and provided information to parents on how to deal with their child who has special needs. To further professionalize client- and student care and policies within the organization, I wrote several business proposals.

Conducting interviews with patients and report the results at multiple locations: mostly Leiden, also in Katwijk. At the location in Leiden, I mostly worked at the department specialized in eating disorders; anorexia nervosa, boulimia nervosa, binge eating disorders (TOP GGZ). I also helped at the department specialized in autism and adult departments for specialized mental health care.

Assisted by dolphins, the CDTC offers intensive two-week programs for patients who face physical and/or mental challenges. Under the guidance of a therapist, the patient is enrolled in ten 2-hour therapy sessions in which he or she gets to swim with one or two dolphins. Care for parents and siblings and the family as a whole is an essential part of the therapy concept. We also work with the Brucker Bio-feedback method.

-Treatments of children aged 3 - 16 with special abilities, both mentally and/or physically at Carolien Marlet's private practice and the Mytylschool. Common psychological problems among the children I treated were trauma, depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and mental retardation. Several children were in a wheelchair as a result of being born with a spina bafida, or neurological deficits. -Teach sports lessons to obese underage children in a way that's fun for youngsters by doing dynamic aerobic trainings and interactive exercises at Paramedical clinic Boeroeswing.-Teach gymnastics to children 3 - 12 years old at Stichting Mytylschool. I always tried to let all children have physical exercise, even if they were in a wheelchair; I would take them out and let them pull or push themselves forward with their arms and/or let them use a ball/rope/mat to move themselves around to improve their self esteem and boost fun.
