Policy development, implementation, and knowledge management• Providing technical and policy advice, support and knowledge on Gender, Peace and Security issues at programme level and first point of contact for +/- 30 colleagues (e.g. thematic advice, joint strategizing and implementation);• Initiating and coordinating capacity building trajectory for PAX colleagues (e.g. training needs assessment, coordinating pilot projects and learning sessions)• Analysing trends and supporting lobby and advocacy on Gender, Peace and Security issues in the Netherlands, EU and internationally (focus on UNSCR 1325 and subsequent resolutions and gender mainstreaming);• Build and maintaining relations with (inter)national (potential) partners, networks and donors, in particular related to Gender, Peace and Security and Sexual and Gender Based Violence. Programme development, management and support • Coordinator of multicultural alliance (5 partner organisations) and responsible for implementation of two UNSCR 1325 programmes in Iraq and Occupied Palestinian Areas (lead in: budget management, project planning, liaising between stakeholders, monitoring progress of “Theory of Change”, donor reporting, contract management);• Organising workshops, regional meeting and events for alliance partners;• Contributing to implementation of a UNSCR 1325 women’s leadership programme in South Sudan (donor reporting, contract management, supporting consultants);• Coordinator of programme design and proposal development for the Dutch National Action Plan III on Women, Peace and Security 2016-2019. Result; 2.000.000 million raised;• Representing PAX in relevant programme related networks (NAP 1325 country group);• Supporting fundraising on Gender, Peace and Security and Gender Mainstreaming (e.g. editing concept notes, strategy papers, project proposals, and campaigning materials). To obtain my bachelor in Tourism Management I conducted a qualitative research project in Kenia, entitled: 'Microcredit and HIV/AIDS, the combination towards development or mission drift of an idealist?'. The aim of this thesis project was to identify opportunities for the development of a sustainable microcredit program for poor women entrepreneurs living with HIV/AIDS in order to cause economicempowerment of these women with the organisations' microcredit projects.Grade: 8
