Responsible for supporting Manufacturing Operations and Process Engineering groups in a variety of semiconductor wafer fab tools and processes in the Cu electroplate and fab finish areas.Duties include but are not limited to:1. Monitoring of Process Quality and investigation of discrepant material2. Interpret Specs and procedures (including writing,editing, ownership)3. Work in cross-functional teams for Process Development, Process Improvement, and/or Product development4. Electroplating Chemical Analysis (Cu/Sn)5. Looking for opportunities for Continuous Improvement in the factoryProcess/tool knowledge1. Wafer thinning (Strasbaugh A7F grinder)2. Mechanical singulation (Disco mechanical saws)3. Laser singulation (ALSI ICA 1204 Integrated System)4. Chemical Analysis (ECI QL5 and ECI QL10)5. Bose Electroforce Load Frame systems (3200 System) - primarily used for material strength analysis

Key Job Responsibilities:1) Sustain/improve processes and tools in the Cu and fab finish areas2) Identifying root causes of die yield and quality problems, developing and implementing permanent corrective actions in upstream processes, and working with operations personnel to clarify and improve process specifications3) New technology development4) Take part in team efforts for cost reduction and yield improvements in a variety of areas5) Provide feedback and coordinate improvements among the product design, wafer fabrication and manufacturing test areas
