Human Factors Engineer
CurrentServing as the Government Contractor HSI Task Lead for the Ground/Air Task-Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) Marine Corp program. This role encompasses all aspects of providing support to the Government HSI Team Lead for the G/ATOR program. • Reviewing and commenting on Specification documents; contributing to the HSI Sub-Integrated Product Team (IPT); representing the Government at major milestone reviews, IPTs and Working Groups; evaluating production contractor program deliverables; providing guidance and direction to HSI counterparts of the production contractor on HSI activities; testing and HSI deliverables; and planning Government HSI activities to include test and evaluation. • Acting as the Government HSI Representative at contractor and government sponsored test events by: Overseeing contractor activities to ensure they satisfy Government HSI requirements; performing data collection and subsequent analyses; and providing HSI/HFE expertise and input as needed during test activities. • Producing and presenting briefings on the status of HSI activities to G/ATOR stakeholders. Stakeholders include the Program Manager, Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads, Marine Corps representatives for G/ATOR, contractor support teams, and external support partners. HSI activities typically briefed to stakeholders include test participation, updates to HSI CDRLs, the status of open HSI issues with the G/ATOR system, and the activities of the HSI Sub-IPT.• Writing and revising test and data collection procedures to support data collection for Measure of Performance (MOP) testing of G/ATOR. Data collection procedures were developed for five aspects of G/ATOR to evaluate the system performance, maintainability, and operational suitability of the system when used by operators wearing biohazard protective gear.
