Carrier's system includes an inpatient psychiatric hospital, detoxification and rehabilitation center, adolescent residential facility, and a fully accredited middle and high school for students classified emotionally disturbed.My position as a Public Relations Intern, allowed me to work closely with Carrier Clinic's social media outlets, Instagram and Facebook. I created daily blogs on mental health to viewers at least twice a month to keep users engaged. I participated in monthly webinars regarding "Mental Health Awareness" and "Our Students and Mental Health", I promoted mental health awareness to individuals of all ages and backgrounds regarding suicide prevention, depression, anxiety, among other mental health conditions.Some administrative task included: •Assisted with research and writing for the Community Health Needs Assessment and Implementation Strategy•Fully support Carrier Clinic's PR strategy and execute it in different phases•Created and curate engaging content for Carrier Clinic Facebook and Twitter pages and blog on website•Assisted in administrative duties•Build and update media lists Worked with Director of Fund & Development and Public Relations Manager to reach main objectives.

• Continue the educational process in the classroom by providing meaningful instruction to students while the teacher is absent. • Follow lesson plan and or instruction provided by the school. • Compile with school policies and applicable laws and regulations. • Establish and maintain safe environment and orderly classroom. • Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration. • Perform other duties as directed or needed by school administration

• Greet and provide customer service to customers. • Inform customers about our store card by sharing the benefits and savings it provides. • Collect payments and close transactions. • Return merchandise back to the sales floor. • Communicate effectively to customers per shift to ensure a satisfactory experience, by asking open-ended questions.

• Answered call bells efficiently.to reduce time patients are waiting. • Assisted patients with ADL’s, such as toileting, showering, transfers. • Responsible for 8-10 patients daily, working both day and overnight shifts. • Worked with orthopedic, stroke, and brain injury patients in a rehabilitation setting. • Collected vital signs and specimens for further evaluation. • Reported patient reports to a registered nurse that was assigned. • Member of the safety team of 30 nursing team members, to prevent patient falls. • Followed health care laws and regulations such as HIPPA and OSHA. • Provided emotional support to patients and their families. • Familiar with medical terminology and procedures.
