JTC Corporation (JTC) is a statutory board of Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), which comprises of around 1200 staff employees. JTC’s core purpose is to champion sustainable industrial development in Singapore. Together with its partners, JTC masterplan clean, green, and develop smart estates as attractive destinations for talent and communities. JTC also drive innovation in the building and infrastructure sector.Enterprise Risk Management (ERMU) is a team within Corporate Planning Division (CPD) which reports to CEO. Anrine reports directly to the CPD director and is supported by a team of risk advisors. ERMU is mainly responsible for leading risk conversations at corporate levels. This includes monitoring and reporting of risk performance at audit risk committee and board meetings. Occasionally ERMU may also be engaged to facilitate risk or insurance discussions at operational level, or functions as an arbiter to resolve risk mitigation disputes between groups / teams. Besides training users on basic risk concepts and fundamentals, ERMU also provides Corporate Risk and Insurance Advisory. The team is active in driving the desired risk culture within JTC, including advocating the best (risk management) practices. They also work closely with the Business Groups to review and extract learnings from their past incidents, complaints, or audit findings to improve JTC processes.ERMU is also the contract owner for Corporate Insurance Contracts (IAR, CGL, S&T, PI, Crime) and Brokerage Contract.

SportSG is a statutory board of the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY), which comprises around 1100 staff employees. SportSG’s core purpose is to inspire the Singapore Spirit and transform Singapore through Sport. Assurance Corporate Excellence (ACE) Group within SportSG is made up of four divisions, Finance, Procurement, ACE Strategy and BFOT. Total staff count in ACE was around 50. Assurance Services (ASV) is a team under ACE Strategy division and Anrine supervised this team comprising of 4 staff members (1AD, 1SM, 1SE and 1SM - temp). ASV supported CEO, DCEO, CFO and Chiefs in the management of SportSG’s Corporate Wide's 2nd line of Defence activities.This included:• Providing Corporate Governance advisory and Charity Governance advisory to both internal and external stakeholders. External Stakeholders are mainly Sport Charities / National Sport Associations that are obligated to comply to SportSG’s grant regulations.• Contract Management of External Auditors who are responsible to audit Sport Charities.• Policy writing and education of Business Users in Assurance Fundamental Concepts to ensure internal control policies and procedures are adhered to.• Establishment of self-healing solutions to prevent repeat audit findings / incidents.• Management of Corporate-wide Non-compliance process.• Sector Administration activities, including due diligence (KYC) screening checks for 67 charities /IPCs.• Ad-hoc Incidents Investigations (bribery & corruption, alleged fraud, drowning, etc).• Business Process transformation Projects using Lean Waste Management Techniques, etc.

Shell Eastern Trading (SETL) is one of the three Shell Oil Trading Hubs in the world. Physical oil is managed through a matrix organisation (TSO) that operates in 30 countries through 150 distribution facilities, 1600 tanks, 500 outside supply point. TSO is also involved in managing 3000 trucks, lifting fuel from 1000 terminals, operating in 50 Joint Ventures (JVs) and delivering to 27,000 retail sites. This is a 2900 employees/ contractors’ business. Governance Risk Assurance (GRA) function plays the role of 2nd line of Defence in Shell. The intent is to promote corporate values within Shell and ensure that these values are reinforced through “tone at the top”, organisational culture, policies and procedures, as well as, effective controls and compliance activities. Anrine operated as a global GRA advisor to VP (TSO), his 8 regional GMs and 58 GM-1s in the management of their Operations Control Frameworks. Operation Activities included Marine Logistics, Road Transportation, Rail Transportation, Pipelines Management, Terminal Management, JV Management, etc.Anrine provided application guidance to educate TSO colleagues on compliance requirements on Shell Control Framework and Shell Standards requirements. This included provide coaching on the Risk Management methodology, and application of the Group Risk Standards throughout the Operations Value Chain. Her role included conducting risk discussions, as well as, managing regional risk reporting processes. She was also involved in Assurance Reviews and conduct of incident investigations, as well as, communicating the learning from these Incidents.

Global

Shell Internal Audit (SIA) plays the role of 3rd line of defence in Shell. Internal Audit Function provides independent assurance to Audit Committee on adequacy of risk management and internal controls across Shell Group Businesses and functions. Anrine had led challenging audits in Upstream and Downstream, delivered impact to the business through her participation in a wide range of audits covering Trading (Front, middle and back office, Shipping), Supply and Distribution, Manufacturing, Retail, Lubricants, Bitumen, Aviation, Corporate & HR, Joint Ventures, Anti-Bribery Corruption, Anti-Money Laundering Reviews. This included in-depth analysis review of Business control frameworks, communicating Business shortcomings that require improvement, delivering key messages and making recommendations to Auditee / Senior Management (GM/VP/EVP level). She had also coached several new joiners and JV auditors helping them gain knowledge of the Auditing process and methodology to drive improved quality.

East

Global Claims Team supports Shell Trading Network in their Cargo Claims solutions. The aim is to provide professional advice to the oil traders and management on potential exposures, which could impact on oil and freight trading economies. Anrine supported 3 trading entities in the East, namely Shell International Eastern Trading Co, Shell International Trading Middle East Co and Shell Japan Trading Co.Anrine provided detailed loss analysis, development of causation theories, management & arbitration of claims within Shell Group. Claims type varies from recoveries or defending against 3rd parties (Supplier/ Ship Owner /Insurance/ Receiver/Terminal /Surveyor). Key competences required knowledge in wet oil trading, different crude and product types, a good comprehension of complex trading contracts, ship & shore cargo handling procedures and limitations, knowledge in refinery and pipeline arrangements, cargo measurement principles (ullages, temperature, trim, list, VEF, tonnage/ volume and table differences), mastery in negotiation skills and excellent relationship management skills with stakeholders in order to reduce the exposure of Shell to third parties and to maximize recoveries from those parties.

Shell Jurong Island (SJI) manufactures Petrochemicals mainly Ethylene Oxide, Styrene Monomer, Propylene Oxide and Polyols on Jurong Island (Previously two companies namely Shell Chemicals Seraya and Elba Eastern, a Joint Venture between Shell and BASF).Anrine was responsible for financial and management information performance reporting to Shell & BASF Joint Venture Board. She was a supervisor to two assistants in Singapore (covering Accounts Payables Invoice scanning, Receivable (Revenue) invoicing / Treasury matters (term deposits, bankers guarantees), Good Services Tax Reporting, Payroll processing and administration). Her roles also included virtual supervision of offshored activities (covering Accounts Payable payment processing & employees claims processing in Kuala Lumpur and GSAP Master Data Team in Bangkok). Her team was also involved in Utilities Mass Balancing, Variable costing and Inventory Accounting. She also led in cost challenge discussions and partnered business cost units on improving budget planning and monitoring processes.

X-PRESS feeders has operations in Singapore, United Kingdom, Hamburg, Barcelona, Dubai, Bombay, Panama. Sea Consortium Pte Ltd operates under X-PRESS feeders as one of the largest independent common carriers in the world. The company provides feeder services in which cargoes are shipped by water in smaller vessels to/ from a transhipment port for loading to or unloading from larger ocean-going vessels. It customises and provides multiple service routes, network, and schedules for shipment to reach destination. Anrine was involving in managing the financials for Calcutta Trade and later moved on to cover Mediterranean Trade. Her team was involved in performance of voyage accounting, which includes time charter allocation journals and voyage closures. She was responsible for monitoring of monthly operating costs performance, management of fleet charter performance and fleet’s depreciation. She partnered operations team to improve correctness and efficiency in shipping records, as well as, resolving any issues arising from system changes. She also supervised in customers debt collection and creditors payment.

Kingfisher plc is one of Europe's leading retailers, operating principally through its two international businesses in DIY and electrical and its UK-focused general merchandise business. The company employs more than 130,000 people in over 2,900 stores across 16 countries and has some of the well-known retail brands in Europe, including B&Q, Castorama, Comet, Darty, BUT, Woolworths and Superdrug among others. Electric City was one of Kingfisher's retail chain assets which was Singapore-based. Anrine led and supervised a team of 7 Staff who were specialists in Accounts Receivable area. Her team was mainly involved in Revenue invoicing, (discount) credit notes processing, debt recovery which includes cash and instalment collections and processing of salesman incentives. She also partnered the Sales Division in Sales forecast and rolling cashflow forecast for management reporting to Finance Manager.

Nakano Metal Press is a manufacturer of metal pressed parts. One of its key business activities includes the supply of bicycle components and parts to Shimano Inc. and Shimano (Singapore) Pte Ltd. Anrine reported directly to the President of Nakano. She managed the people recruitment processes for the manufacturing plant, cash flow budgetary & financials including reporting to Head Office in Japan. She was supported by one payroll & admin assistant in the management of payroll processing and administration activities for the manufacturing company.

Singapore / Indonesia

Town Art Design is a sister company to Town Art Services which operates mainly as advertising companies in Singapore. Key business activities included design services for promotional materials used for advertising/ publication distribution, media /billboard display, etc. Anrine managed the financials for Town Art Design in Singapore, as well as financial of investments units (Camel Franchise store and restaurants) located in Batam, Indonesia. Financial activities included: monthly end closing, weekly budget and cashflow forecasts, loan and borrowings arrangements, debts collection and creditors payments processing.

Anrine was one of the three selected to join Shell Chemicals Seraya (Pte) Ltd during the company's recruitment drive in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. She secured the role through excellent academic results prior to her final Diploma examinations. Her role was predominantly in the processing of Accounts payable invoices and employee's claims.
