• Responsible for delivering an integrated health education and promotion program with a physical education into the formal education curriculum of Yanbu University College- Female. • Develops and implements programs that emphasize the relationship between nutrition, fitness, health and wellness; teaching the importance of exercise and fitness, personal training and recreational pursuits. • Teaches a curriculum to second language learners, by using various learning methodologies that support a “learning by doing” philosophy.• Uses a “student-centric learning” environment that fosters respect for students, their culture, and traditions.

The Private Sector Project for Women’s Health in Jordan has a mandate to improve the health of Jordanian women and families. The project addresses women's health issues, modern contraceptive methods, and breast cancer early detection. Duties include: •Supervising nationwide community outreach program that reached nearly 1.5 million in their homes to educate women on women's health issues.•Overseeing the development and implementation of data collection, recording, analysis and information reporting system, working in collaboration with an international technical assistance team and a local IT firm.•Overseeing operations of NGO subcontractors that implement grassroots outreach programs with over 100 community health workers and a program budget approximating $4 million. •Conducting strategic planning in collaboration with the implementing partners on canvas areas, client profiles, coverage approach, proper education messages and appropriate monitoring and evaluation.•Following -up execution of partners’ work plans, subcontracts terms and agreements, and ensure accurate invoicing. •Conducting community outreach analysis on a quarterly and annual basis, report progress and achievements against project work plans, and identify needs for adjustment. •Provide management and technical assistance to maintain quality of or improve the data collection, recording and analysis system in coordination with NGO partners. •Supervise the systematic training, supervision and evaluation of community health workers (CHWs) associated with partner NGOs. ••Supervise and monitor the provider referral and voucher system. •Conduct needs assessments and analysis to determine knowledge gaps and potential training required to ensure delivery of proper messages and correct medical information and the production of appropriate IEC materials.

The Social and Health Research Center (SHRC) is a non-profit organization, dedicated to social science and diabetes prevention in populations at risk. SHRC implements and evaluates the Bienestar program: a school-based obesity and diabetes prevention program in elementary and middle schools located in lower income neighborhoods in San Antonio and Laredo, Texas. •Monitored and evaluated the Bienestar program intervention demonstrated by pre and post subject assessments. •Coordinated the collection of biological, behavioral, and psychological data from 3,000 students and their families from 45 elementary schools in San Antonio and Laredo, Texas. •Oversaw the training of the evaluation department’s research staff on data collection, entry, and transmission to central office. •Provided direct assistance to health education and data collection staff with updated technical support and training arrangements. •Monitored and oversaw the program's delivery through systematic site visits and process evaluation in the field to identify challenges or barriers and work with the team to overcome them with the best possible methods. •Coordinated with the Texas Diabetes Institute (TDI), the Laredo Health Department (LHD) and the American Diabetes Association (ADA) on promoting “Bienestar”, engaging additional participants, disseminating diabetes prevention information and providing referral services to individuals identified with diabetes related medical problems at schools and health fairs. •Assisted principal investigators in the planning and design of research studies; data collection procedures, methods and instruments; and training manuals.• Worked with statistical analysis software such as SPSS, MS Access, and Excel to analyze data and provide descriptive statistics. •Responsible for writing and delivering quarterly program and study progress reports to funding agencies.•Represented SHRC at a variety of conferences and workshops.

Instructed and tutored college students in a variety of subjects including Nutrition, biology, chemistry, and English as a Second Language (ESL) Initiated group toturing for ESL for non-English speeking students, tailoring their learning experience to their background and capabilities.
