ONLINE DISCUSSION MODERATOR AND BLOGGER Dissemination of ideas and exchanging of experiences can play a critical role in improving lives of deprived section of our society. It was in 2002 I created an online space where people from different professions and different walks of lives can exchange their own visions, missions, ideas and experiences to complement each other’s search for the path to ensure a society where every child get access to quality education, health care systems and a society free of exploitation. Arkitect India is a creation of a group of teachers and research scholars from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, who felt the need to use their education for betterment of society. Observing the lack of effective schools in slum areas so close to their own academic institution, the group was motivated to make a small beginning to use their knowledge and skills to provide learning centers for slum children.

1. PROGRAM OFFICER- EDUCATION (2018-PRESENT)2. PROJECT LEAD- EDUCATION AND CHILD PROTECTION (2017TO 2018) Ensure overall management of any of the sub themes under education in the North Zone. The major sub-themes are: Early Childhood Education & Development, Dropout prevention, Learning outcome improvement, Socio-Emotional Learning Skills, Access to Higher Education, Child Labour and Early Marriage. • Program Design and Management: o Providing thematic guidance to partners working on education models.o Providing guidance to partners on COVID-19 Response (Education related). It includes: Ensuring every child get access to Intergenerational Coping and Learning (IGCL) kits. Weekly follow up and upgrading/updating program based on inputs from the ground.  Capacity Building of Master Trainers & Education Coordinators through Microsoft Team Meeting o Educating stakeholders and ChildFund’s partners with knowledge of laws, policies and programmes related to children such as Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 & National Education Policy 2020.o Capacity Building of the partners based on Education Models programs.o Networking & Liasoning with stakeholders o Coordinating with networks like RTE Forum, Alliance for Right to ECD, Campaign Against Child Labour, State Collective for Right to Education (SCoRE) and SMC Federation. • To provide leadership to Education program to improve the performance of Local Partners of ChildFund.• To support ChildFund’s Direct Implementation Projects in North India.• To ensure periodical field visit to the Local Partners to strengthen the field impacts. Monitoring & Evaluation – Education and Child Protection.• To enhance Networking, Advocacy & Visibility of the program• To provide support & facilitate on Community Based Child Protection Mechanism (CBCPM) program model and formation of state level network on Child Protection issue.

Charged with increasing corporate engagement and support of organizations associated with child rights- especially those working on universal access to free, equitable quality education for children, increased access to free equitable quality primary health care for mothers and children, and ensure a reduction in the rate of child malnutrition. • Monitoring & Evaluation of CRY funded programmes in Uttar Pradesh. Earlier I also evaluated CRY supported programmes in Uttara Khand, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi. • Training and workshop on Education & Sustainable Development. Capacity Building and Conceptual clarity and why education is key to peace and sustainable development. • Developed strategic plan for implementation of RTE Act 2009 and conducted longitudinal research on school infrastructure as per RTE Act 2009. It was crucial to implementation of project, planned resource allocation and budgeting, and provided process guidelines to initiate data colligation, analysis, and report writing. • Identification of experts, mapping of organizations, short listing them for partnership for implementation of programmes to achieve CRY Goals in Uttar Pradesh (UP).• Partnership Management, their Capacity Building and hand holding for implementation of projects. • Project wise MIS development of UP Partners and consolidation in a monthly report of the state. • Worked on Teachers Training initiatives, policy advocacy related to education, capacity building of CRY partners for implementation of The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009 (RTE Act 2009). • Community Resource Management and CBO capacity building for community monitoring on schemes and programme for them. • Created handbook to map and address issues of malnutrition at the village level. • Advocacy Plan to activate government schools and demand to upgrade primary schools to upper primary schools.

I am one of the founding members and Chairman of Ark Foundation. I was working as Programme Coordinator and later workd as Research and Evaluation Coordinator to create access to quality education to under privileged childrenThe main responsibilities were research and evaluation but the position required multiple roles and responsibilities. Some important among them were writing proposals, planning & monitoring projects, review of professionals engaged in projects and bringing monthly newsletters to update outsides world about the activities of Ark. Important projects handled at Ark: • Project Coordinator “Innovation and the Resilience of Religion” Spiritual Capital Research Program, University of Cambridge. The Responsibilities included: o Development of data collection plan for 7 states.o Member of the team to develop questionnaire for data collection for the research work and its orientation. o Analysis, Indepth Interviews and FGD o Debriefing to the Team from Cambridge University. o Support in Report Writing • I was part of a research team on “Access to Primary Schooling in India”. The project was to discuss educational policies, household characteristics, locational characteristics and school characteristics including private primary schooling in India. The responsibilities: o Conceptualization, designing and execution of primary research.o Mapping of existing research work on the topic.o Analysis of data and report writing. • Madrasa Education Project. The responsibilities: o Planning and Organizing a national seminar on Madrasa Education System. o Submitting the project proposal to National University of Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA) and organized in JNU.o Organizing the programmed which was supported by NUEPAo Mobilizing funds • Volunteer Engagement Programme: o Two Hours a Week concept was developed to mobile at least 2 hours in a week for children.o Mobilization other supports to run the centres.

Conducted planning and implementation and developed mitigation plan following risk assessment for project involving large displaced population from disadvantaged region.
