Anselmo, after accomplishing a coach builder apprenticeship, graduated in industrial design from one of the most prestigious art and design universities, the Swiss École cantonale d’art de Lausanne (ÉCAL) in 2015. Studying at ÉCAL involved the completion of numerous intern-ships in Murano, Valencia and Copenhagen, gaining experience alongside inspiring designers like Héctor Serrano, Borealis and Sebastian Holmbäck, to name but a few. Once graduated he worked for nearly three years for the London based duo Barber & Osgerby. Multiple award winning designers, author of the London Olympic torch 2012, Rimowa suitcases and Apple office chair, among many other projects.Leveraging his past expertise, Anselmo co-founded Custer Waller, an interdisciplinary design studio located in Lugano, Switzerland. This new studio focuses at the intersection of digital and physical design, encompassing products, environments, and graphic communications. Leading multiple brand identity and product design projects across various industries, along with ventures into Virtual and Mixed Reality projects, has led him to collaborate across a spectrum of disciplines. This continuous exploration has fuelled his passion for learning and expanding expertise.While still collaborating with his Lugano-based practice, Anselmo, felt the urge to explore new horizons and decided to return to London to embark on a new venture: Phenomena Creative Advisory, a practice dedicated in crafting cohesive hardware solutions and visual brands for innovative startup.
