Carlow Educate Together National School opened in September 2008. I am the first principal of the school, which has grown to become one of the most innovative primary schools in the country. We are well known for our happy, safe, learning environment with a focus on relational awareness. We also lead the way in terms of technology in education and have been the first school in the country to utilise digital solutions that make our community's lives easier.

Anseo.net has grown from humble beginnings to having over a million visits per year. Anseo.net is now mainly used as a platform for a podcast called If I were the Minister for Education. However, it was once the one stop shop for every Interactive Whiteboard in Ireland, the place where people sought information about anything relating to technology and a portal for educational tools. Ever-evolving, Anseo.net is one of the only places to get an independent voice on primary education in Ireland.

Mash.ie is a web site that allows teachers to upload and share their lesson plans and content. Since 2014, we gave teachers the option of selling their plans. The site now hosts over 30,000 members and is a fully-developed marketplace with over 800 sellers.

Am responsible for training and tutoring teachers in all aspects of ICT in accordance with the Primary School Curriculum. Have presented courses on topics including Scratch, Interactive Whiteboards, Literacy and Numeracy using ICT and Digital Media all over the country.

Founded the CoderDojo in Carlow town where over 200 families sign up to learn coding. It was handed over to Carlow IT in 2014.

Tutored 3rd Level students in Web Design and responsible for the general management of the module, including design of lectures, assignments and grading of project work. Also responsible for the supervision of students completing their Masters degrees, assessing their progress through meetings, email and telephone and assigning a grade to their submissions.
