Topic : Modeling and Optimization of Pick and Place Machine The project was together with ITA and ASYS Group. The final product of the automation line would be develop Smart Textiles products like Smart bands integrating electronic components. From the whole Automation line, my Thesis focus was on Pick and Place Machine- Development of Pick and place Machine for placing electronic components on Textiles.- Selection of Gripper according to Kano Model- Construction of 3D printed Mechanical grippers with Keyence Agilista, Purchase of components required for Pick and place Machine according to specifications of Project and support in integrating the hardware of Machine like running of the axle- Arduino UNO, sensors for crash failure. - Optimization of Camera using Python to get six sigma accuracy for detection of components and placing at the right position. Defining process capability was an important factor taken into consideration ( If detection of camera fails - Automation fails ) - Trial and Testing of Pick and place system integrating Camera, Vacuum Grippers and construction of Automatic reels for electronic components- FMEA for the whole process- Support in development of GUI for User-Interface of the Pick and Place System
