Competitive Intelligence Framework- Built an end-to-end competitive intelligence framework to extract, transform and analyze competitor data and understand the internal business trends against the key competitors.- Collaborated with cross operational teams (growth strategy, merchants) to device assortment strategy across various product categories based on the latest industry trends.- Automated the end to end analysis process through designing reports and python codes and helped the team reduce quarterly analysis time by ~66% (15 days to 5 days).2. Shortage Prediction Model- Developed a regression based shortage prediction model (accuracy of ~87%) to accurately identify the top product categories most susceptible to shortage across various stores and regions.- Engineered a hybrid solution that integrated Python code, Excel sheets, and Power BI reporting to automate the shortage prediction process.- Enabled the loss prevention team to timely pinpoint high-risk categories and stores, enabling better resource allocation, which, in turn, is expected to lead to a ~1-1.5% reduction in shortage within just one year.3. Store Level Experimentation (Test vs Control)- Designed and executed multiple store/market level controlled experiments ranging across various domains such as marketing, store ops, merchandising, store planning, loss prevention etc.- Gathered the requirements, recommended the optimal experiment pool size, and sampled balanced experiment pool for testing. Further analyzed the lift numbers using controlled testing.- Recently collaborated with merchandising team to sample balanced experiment pool and analyze the impact of shifting position of socks with food items in the Queue.
