I am driven by the ability to shape and architect an idea into a digitally powered reality and am motivated to excel as a software developer. Over 11 years of Mobile app development has helped me have a profound understanding of the platform and build the capability to be able to work with upcoming technologies.I have been working immensely with Java, Kotlin, Android Sdk, Android development tools, external libraries like Retrofit, Dagger2, Butterknife etc. to develop interactive and intuitive mobile applications in architecture like MVVM and clean.Hands on experience with Firebase Cloud Messaging, location-based services, Material Design, optimizing background tasks by multithreading and job schedulers for better battery life and performance. Approach to communicating with web services is via RESTful API and well versed with latest changes in the Android operating system and Java development tools. In-depth knowledge of Android platform - its core components, the layered architecture including Android Interface Definition Language(AIDL) and have leveraged it to implement interprocess communication (IPC) for a research project with students at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Adapting to different design patterns, the latest one is MVVM and clean architecture as well as adhere to good coding practices by using static code analyzer tools like FindBugs, CheckStyle, lint etc. Exposed to testing tools like Mockito, Robolectric or Espresso.I have worked in an Agile environment with workflow management tool - JIRA for issue tracking, continuous integration, and real-time collaboration as well as used Github for version control.A Lead, Technology with Nagarro, currently working with the client Mauritius Commercial Bank on their mobile banking application in Mauritius, exhibiting an innovative approach to solve problems through optimal solutions.
