I was responsible for developing and executing the data vision and strategy at Shortlist from ground-zero and driving a strong data culture within the organisation. This role was part of Shell's Trading & Supply Business.Primary Responsibilities•Policy and Governance lead for the global Credit Risk organisation (80 people) responsible for setting and enforcing Credit policy and ways of working•Organised and managed a monthly Credit Committee with the Trading CEO, CFO and other senior stakeholders to discuss global credit strategy and urgent issues•Actively supported internal stakeholders on gaining insights across data generated in Shell Trading through advanced data analytics and business intelligence toolsHighlights •Shell-BG Acquisition: Led the integration of Credit policy for the new organisation, identifying opportunities to leverage best practices across both organisations•Designed and implemented a Credit Watch List – a data analytics and visualisation tool to pro-actively monitor the credit health of more than 2,000 counterparties (over a million data points)

This role was part of Shell's Upstream Business in the UK (North Sea).Primary Responsibilities•Part of a 4-member team managing a capital expenditure budget > $1 billion p.a. for a portfolio of 25 assets•Managed day-to-day finance activities for 6 assets including preparing budgets, managing cash calls and working with external JV partners in cases of disputes•Provided robust support to the business and internal stakeholders on understanding financial performance of the assets and cash impacts of future projectsHighlights•Developed and led the creation of the first ‘Performance Unit Review’ for the portfolio – a strategy presentation made to the Shell Executive Committee including the CEO and CFO•Implemented a data visualisation tool for internal stakeholders to view cash flows, production and other KPIs•External JV Partner Audit: Part of an audit team to assess the credibility of cash calls and vendor invoices being provided by the operating partner of a flagship asset

One World Week is the 'world's largest student run event'My position on the Sports team involved organizing the Tennis, Table Tennis and Electronic Games tournaments with an aggregate of over 200 participants. I was also in charge of photgraphy for the Sports Competitions and played a significant role in marketing various events.

I led a team from my school to win the Silver Award for being adjudged Runner's Up as well as the Theme Award in the Health category resulting in a total prize money of $3500. The competition saw 83 teams from around the world compete in coming up with a sustainable and practical business idea and creating a detailed 5 year business plan for the same in the from of 20 page document followed by a presentation. The final stages involved pitching the idea to eminent professionals from some of the top firms in Hong Kong.
