First and foremost, I love writing code. Ever since writing my first program in C and manipulating it to produce the desired output, I have been obsessed with the idea of using software to solve practical problems. Throughout college, I latched on to any ideas for projects I could get, moving from "Hello World" all the way to a simple JSP servlet to fetch current date-time all the way to designing NLP systems to solve real-world problems, with dozens of projects in between. In industry, I learned JavaScript and instantly fall in love with the language and the impact it has on the global development ecosystem. I tore through any books I could find on anything remotely related to software development. I was insatiable. I studied new languages, algorithms, compilers, system design, and higher mathematics with pretty much the same fascination that drove me when I wrote my first line of code. And it was here that I learned truly how much there was to learn. Software engineering is a never-ending puzzle that I am passionately engaged in solving.
