Greetings LinkedIn, I’m a 3rd year Honors Computing Science student at the University of Alberta. I’m the current business lead at our university’s Hyperloop chapter, AlbertaLoop focusing in increasing outreach, recruiting new members, gaining more sponsors at public events, all while developing the best model pod in Canada! I worked on a LLM-RAG project for a telecom solutions company hoping to increase the efficiency of call-support agents by preliminary screening user-questions with LLaMA-3 trained on the agent resource guide. We are planning to launch the project onto their existing call-centre-scheduling product in the near future. I’m looking for internship opportunities particularly involving AI and LLMs in order to make existing systems future-proof and ready for scaling!
