About TeamThe Retail Business Services group is an integral part of the Amazon online product lifecycle and buying operations. The team is designed to ensure Amazon remains competitive in the online retail space with the best price, wide selection, and good product information. The team’s primary role is to create and enhance retail selection on the worldwide Amazon online catalog. The tasks handled by this group have a direct impact on customer buying decisions and online user experience.Key Responsibilities : • Identifying catalog issues faced by customers and designing solutions for them• Solving the problems using Machine Learning/Deep Learning and deploying the models to production• Automating the data ingestions and output extraction pipelinesI have worked wide range of projects related to NLP - 1. Trained Deep Learning models using BERT for Attribute extraction and automate backfilling missing slots on large scale. Reduced manual backfilling efforts by 10 HCs x 20 days effort2. Wrote logics and rules to identify mismatch in attribute values on product page. 3. Wrote and implemented Arabic tokenizer to aid training for Arabic Models in BERT.
