I am primarily interested in using the Physics to develop probabilistic and neuromorphic systems which can significantly improve the computing devices that are being used. The traditional computing device follows a Von-neuman architecture which limits the efficiency. On contrary the data processing and storage in human brain is parallel because of neurons and synapses. Neuromorphic Computing is inspired from the biological brain i.e. integrating the storage and processing unit which opens up the way for Non-Von Neumann computing. Materials like graphene, perovskites, 2D materials and conjugate polymers show promising optoelectronic properties and can be used to design advanced semiconductor devices. I am interested in studying the electronic and magnetic transport properties of these materials and characterizing them.Currently I am working with Dr. Simran Singh at Carnegie Mellon University. At the LIQUID group we fabricate devices using Quantum Materials and study their transport properties at low temperature.During my BS-MS I worked with Dr. Satyaprasad Senanayak at NISER, Bhubaneswar. At Nanoeletronics and Device Physics Lab I fabricated ferroelectric FETs to explore neuromorphic properties in them.Projects:-1. Charge transport properties of Corroles.2.
