Full time job divided in two main segments. First part covered running the day to day operations of different playgrounds for children between the age of 3 and 14 years old. The coaching, roster management and communication with/for over a 100 volunteers. Attracting new volunteers to the different courses and being an instructor during these week long courses. Running the online registration platform and social media. Being first in line for parents with a wide range of questions this could be in person, per telephone, email or through our social media. Second part was overseeing Koraal's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. Performed daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, ledger entries, and recorded payments and adjustments using a variety of programmes.

Koraal - A key organisation that provides youth vacations, across 10 playgrounds and vital support to families with children between 0 to 12 years who need temporary help.Koraal pride themselves on voluntarily providing hundreds of children between 3 and 14 a rewarding and educational vacation. We create and design our own inspirational games and tasks with long term goals in mind. As a coordinator you are solely responsible for one of the 10 locations and 50 children. Your role encompasses everything from administration, children's day to day enjoyment and welfare, management of your team and are the main point of contact for the children's families and provide them day-to-day support.Between 2009 and 2019 I took on a number of varied positions at Koraal, starting out as a volunteer myself and eventually becoming a Lead Coordinator. I am passionate about volunteer organisations and working with children and managed to successfully combine this with my administrative and accounting skills obtained through my Office Management degree in 2015.
