I lead trips for the Outdoors Program at Texas A&M University for participants of all ages. Trips range from local day trips to multi-day extended trips out of state. I along with my co-leaders lead pre-trip meetings with participants to prepare them for the trips, prep equipment, meals, and vehicles for trips, and while on trips provide vital instructions regarding safety, technique, and directions to ensure participants have a learning experience outdoors to increase their outdoors fluency, garner a new fascination for the outdoors, and create a safe environment for exploration. These trips include rock climbing, paddling, and backpacking.

Manage the Rental Center operations for the Outdoor Program at Texas A&M University, overseeing inventory control, equipment purchasing, repairs, and group reservations. This includes managing a team of about fifty student workers and using delegation to ensure an efficient workflow and optimal utilization of resources. Additionally, collaboration with other departments and university staff to ensure smooth operations and deliver exceptional customer service. In my time in the department I also conducted interviews for student and professional staff and participated in planning and budgetary committees.Outside of duties related to the position, I analyzed the technological workflow and wrote scripts in Python to streamline processes and decrease in manual inputting in Fusion software and the Google Suite.

I implemented a remote logging system for web and desktop applications within the aviation division to aid in data analysis and debugging. This includes developing a custom library to efficiently collect, format, and transmit logs to a dashboard service via a REST API's, significantly improving log management. I conducted meetings with teams and stakeholders across the department to comprehend their logging objectives and requirements. Each app integrated the logging library, ensuring smooth functionality and compatibility and went through thorough reviews and rigorous testing of logs to ensure accuracy, reliability, and completeness.This project utilized TypeScript, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Electron, React, and Django and used the containerization technologies of Docker and Kubernetes.
