About Ansley Wilson

Hey there! I am a third-year student at The Ohio State University majoring in theatre with minors in hospitality management and film studies. After graduation, I plan to work in the themed entertainment industry.Storytelling has always been my passion. I wrote my first script in second grade: a short retelling of Avril Lavigne’s “Sk8er Boi.” As I got older, I fell in love with theatre. I was always encouraging my friends to join in and act alongside me. That habit stuck. I pioneered my tiny county school’s first drama club in middle school. In high school, I served as the president of the improv comedy group, directed my first one-act play, and dedicated my senior research project to the practice of gender-blind casting. All throughout that time, I still wrote stories. Now, in college, I train volunteer character performers to brighten children's day with A Moment of Magic, design promotional materials and communications for Fishbowl Improv, and work with the theatre department as an actor and designer.
