About Anson Stevens-Bollen

Hi! Here is a bit about my past work. I have had the honor of working with the Santa Fe Reporter for 11 years. In that time, I have created 500+ cover illustrations and many photographs for cover projects. I have designed magazines, managed and tutored coworkers in photography and the media arts. Currently, I have won 18 awards for the Santa Fe Reporter including, 11 first place awards for cover design, awards for website design, general illustration and typography/page design. My photography has been featured across the world and my illustration work has been featured in many U.S. publications. I have also had the pleasure of working with Project Censored Press, producing engaging book covers for the past 5 years. In addition, I have worked with brand/identity, collaborating with such labels as Dirty Shirley and Country Luau Cocktails, creating logos, packaging and websites for their presence. My brand work has been featured in Forbes Magazine.

    I helped develop a new brand for THG's restaurant franchise K-Bob's Steakhouse. Through revamping printed items such as menus, flyers and billboards I was able to create a cleaner more current feel for the 50+ restaurants represented. I also re-imagined the logo for the company to be used in new ad campaigns and in social networking. In addition, I created a backend website for franchise employees and management to connect and share. This site also was used as a place to download new menus, legal copy and an area for new employees to take an online test.
