Current• Lead kaizen and lean projects on daily basis to improve process and product• Identify and implement various continuous improvement projects to improve cycle time and cost savings• Lead capital investment projects (CAPEX)• Worked with production planning to set shop priorities and ensure all required tools and documentation required for production run jobs are available.• Conduct time studies to optimize the process and model mix for maximum throughput• Defined the plant lay-out and enhance ergonomic requirements by establishing programs and conducting studies• Planned and executed projects related to new and pre-existing production lines, improvements, upgrades, layouts, and new equipment related to assembly• Lead and participate in PFMEA and DFMEA with cross functional team to improve the process and quality.• Recognized and resolved tooling related difficulties with existing and new projects• Interface with suppliers of raw material and tools to establish engineering requirements for start of production• Lead process and product failure investigation to identify the root cause and prevent reoccurring with solid process design.• Addressed and investigated safety and ergonomic issues and provide the best solution.
