Antanika Hoberg Email and Phone Number
I am a passionate advocate for the responsible use and decriminalisation of psychedelics for mental health and personal growth. As the President of the Australian Psychedelic Society (APS), I am dedicated to providing support, education, and harm-reduction and integration practices to those seeking healing through psychedelic medicine. I am also a Consumer Board advisor and provide Psychedelic Integration support for Monarch mental health group. My interest in psychedelics stems from my own transformative experience using psychedelic medicine to treat my Complex-PTSD. My resulting post-traumatic growth fueled my passion for advocacy in the space, which began with volunteering as a social media coordinator for the APS in 2018. Recognising a gap in the Adelaide psychedelic community, I established the Adelaide chapter of the APS and was quickly voted onto the executive committee. In 2021, I was elected as Vice President of the national organisation, then President in 2023. My expertise lies in my ability to create supportive communities and advocate for harm reduction, ethics, and self-education in the psychedelic space.I am one of the co-founders of the Ethical Psychedelic International Community (EPIC) and the Australian Psychedelic Society women's groups, where I facilitate free monthly calls focused on harm reduction, ethics, community support, and self-education around women's use. In addition to my work with the APS, I have given talks at Adelaide University and was featured on SBS's Insight episode 'Illicit Medicine', hosted and participated in panels as well. My interest lies in psychedelic preparation and integration and I host my Peer-led support groups every month. I’m curious to see how Australia manages the aftercare I think is needed in psychedelic therapy, if you’re interested in chatting about programs in development please get in contact. As well as this, I am an effective communicator and team player, I bring a wealth of experience in administration, public speaking, team management, organisational management, social media management, project management, web development, and design, event planning, and networking. When not immersed in the psychedelic world, I spend my time with my family and I home-school two of my three children. I am also an avid gardener, attempting to master the art of growing my own vegetables.
