FirstAct was born in the Fall of 2019 as a service to connect local music acts in Montreal to undersold shows. We created a database of music venues, producers, and acts which was eventually spun off as First Act Tech and sold in 2022. The First Act brand lives on as a podcast hosted by my-cofounder.
