I’m a content marketing leader who brings a mix of creative and production expertise, particularly to brand video content. I'm the Production Lead at Keep Left, an indie creative and comms agency, where I deliver video productions as senior in-house Director and Agency Producer. I’m coming up on 20 years across production and content marketing. Notable projects include branded micro-documentary collaborations for IBM and TED (shot on location in Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa), TVCs for NEFF Appliances, Orthodontics Australia, Save The Children, Red Nose, Guide Dogs Victoria, YouTube content for ANZ, Coles Local, Target Australia and always-on brand campaign content for the University of Melbourne.My work has been seen on every Australian free-to-air network, as well as CNN.com, TED.com, BBC3, theguardian.com, and Channel 4 (UK).I have experience leading productions in conditions ranging from in-studio with brand teams, to Parisian hotel rooms with short-fused tennis players, plus track-side at off-road races through the Aussie bush, and informal settlements in developing countries. My heritage working across broadcast, production companies, and creative agencies means I bring proven experience that ranges from delivering on creative team’s visions, to running director-led productions from an audience-need perspective. As I’ve worked on the tools and off, I know the ins and outs of productions ranging from $15k through to $150k. From leading the implementation of client’s notes on an edit to negotiating with suppliers to improv-ing with comedian presenters on set. I’m at my best when leading small to medium teams.
