As Interim Head of School, filled an executive leadership gap for my children’s K-12 private school with 34 employees and 150 students. Successfully drove to completion a half-dozen board-defined strategic initiatives. Established systems and processes to improve strategic planning, financial management & reporting, budgeting, marketing, communications, payroll, billing, and staffing.

As a CEI consultant, I created an IT Service Delivery Department which managed organizational transformation activities for the Managed Care organization Health Plan of San Joaquin. HPSJ is a not-for-profit local health plan for California's Central Valley that develops programs and services to ensure quality health care for over 400,000 members in San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties.

Senior member of the core Product and Engineering leadership team reporting to EnlivenHealth’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and responsible for driving strategic direction, managing delivery process governance, establishing quarterly performance and delivery goals, encouraging professional development of the management team, developing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), owning the budget, and improving employee engagement. Starting with one direct report, built a team of over a dozen senior-level specialists that focus on Program Management (PMO), Strategic Initiatives, Financial Management, Agile Delivery, and Vendor Management to support a Product and Engineering organization of over 175 Product Managers, Product Owners, and IT, Data, and Application Development Engineers.

Led a team of over a dozen program/project managers and scrum masters within a new software delivery Program Management Office (PMO) to support the product managers, product owners, development and QA leaders for over 40 scrum teams and related customer-facing functions.

Delivered over 10 major feature releases for cloud-based digital health solution (EHR, practice management, revenue cycle management, patient engagement and reporting) for chiropractors, physical therapists and other related care providers.

As part of the core team for a technology consulting firm I conducted user research, developed and prioritized backlogs of feature and functional requirements, created wireframes, wrote user stores, and conducted acceptance tests for clients in three different areas: healthcare, supplier diversity tracking, and database optimization.

Taught hundreds of adult students in classroom and online. Subjects: Ethics and religion in business and professional settings.

Gathered requirements, authored user stories, groomed product backlogs, and daily engaged marketing, product management, and engineering teams for 2 solutions: a tool for hospitals to report monthly infection control data to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and a clinical decision support (CDS) database employed by all 55 Poison Control Centers in the United States.

Responsible for the overall design, development, and deployment of Interfacing and Business Analytics functionality for an enterprise solution for managing home health/hospice organizations.

Responsible for gathering client requirements, writing user stories, prioritizing the product backlog, and acceptance testing functionality.
