Having left school I started out in the sign industry as an apprentice metal worker at Escott Signs where I gained knowledge of what goes into signage and how much effort is required to maintain a high standard. I moved to Ellis Signs in 1995 working as a fixers mate, there I learnt vast knowledge in how to install the signage and how important it is to meet strict deadlines. I went from a fixers mate to having my own van and a apprentice of my own. I left Ellis signs November 1998 and started working at Astley signs as a fitter, I worked in this role for 2 years until I moved into the factory as a Vinyl and Graphics supervisor. After much hard work I was promoted to Small works co-ordinator and then to a role as Contracts Manager. I have looked after various clients including: Sainsburys, CRUK, Waitrose, John Deere, BP and Jet.My current role is Senior Contracts Manager at Astley, I am a manager of a great team who work closely together to ensure we achieve the best results. We look after all of the Petroleum and Forecourt work for the business. Our client list includes BP, Jet, Texaco, Esso and Gulf.Trusted and recognised throughout the Oil industry for our quality of work we pride ourselves in our honest and open approach.
