Teaching English as a second language to a class of adult students of varied levels of proficiency, diverse age ranges, and from diverse backgrounds under the Greater Southern Tier BOCES adult literacy program.Submitting and maintaining records and paperwork congruent with agency and state requirements for program funding. Designing a custom curriculum based upon students overall and individual needs. Making weekly lesson plans focusing on vocabulary, grammar, dictation, speaking, reading comprehension, and writing. Lesson plans include seat work, videos, activities, conversation, and games to improve students understanding and use of the English language as well as American culture.
